We are seeking an experienced and professional Program Coordinator to steward the growth of our School of Botanical Studies. Your primary focus will be managing the 100-Hour Herbalism Program and laying the foundation for future offerings.
In this role, you will collaborate with elders, medicine keepers, and esteemed herbalists, weaving together diverse traditions into a cohesive and impactful educational experience. From budget management to curriculum development and community engagement, your work will help transform the lives of students and support the regenerative education movement.

Responsibilities:

Program Management:
- Lead the coordination of the 100-Hour Herbalism Program, ensuring every aspect—from curriculum delivery to teacher engagement—flows smoothly and aligns with the school’s mission.
- Act as the central point of contact for teachers, students, and mentors, fostering clear communication and a supportive learning environment.
- Oversee scheduling, logistics, and operational needs to create a seamless, enriching experience for all participants.
Budget Oversight:
- Manage and track program budgets with precision, ensuring financial decisions support both immediate program needs and long-term growth.
- Collaborate with leadership to allocate resources effectively, balancing the expansion of offerings with fiscal sustainability.
Visionary Curriculum Expansion:
- Partner with herbal educators to design and implement new offerings that reflect the needs of students, the wisdom of teachers, the spirit of the program, and market opportunities.
- Develop programs that integrate specialized classes, hands-on immersions, and other transformative learning.
- Listen deeply to feedback from teachers, students, and the broader herbal community to co-create courses that honor tradition while innovating for modern learners.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams to align daily operations with the school’s vision, ensuring all moving parts function in harmony.
- Facilitate cross-team communication, from marketing and sales to program development, to streamline efforts and ensure shared goals are met.
- Empower team members to contribute to the program’s success through clear direction and collaborative planning.
Community Engagement:
- Foster a vibrant, inclusive community where students feel deeply supported, connected, and inspired in their learning journey.
- Create opportunities for meaningful interaction between students, teachers, and mentors, building lasting relationships and a strong sense of belonging.
Wisdom-Centered Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Cultivate relationships with a diverse network of herbalists, elders, and collaborators, ensuring their voices and wisdom shape the school’s programs.
- Act as a bridge between visionary ideas and practical implementation, ensuring all contributions are honored and integrated thoughtfully.
Cross-Departmental Coordination:
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure programs are well-promoted, reaching the right audiences and maximizing impact.
- Partner with operations teams to maintain alignment across organizational initiatives and growth strategies.
Strategic Growth & Vision:
- Contribute to the long-term vision of the School of Botanical Studies, playing a key role in shaping its evolution into a world-class herbal education platform.
- Use insights from students, teachers, the herbal community, and market trends to develop offerings that are innovative, meaningful, and impactful.
- Bring a special kind of wisdom—a deep listening to spirit, community, and market needs—to guide program development and ensure alignment with the school’s purpose
What You Bring:

- Herbalism Expertise: At least 3+ years of herbalism experience and training, with a deep understanding of traditional and contemporary practices.
- Program Management Experience: 5+ years of experience in program coordination or management, ideally within an educational, wellness, or nonprofit setting.
- Budget Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage significant budgets, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Leadership and Team Collaboration: Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and inspire accountability.
- Operational and Strategic Skills: Expertise in streamlining operations, developing growth strategies, and driving measurable outcomes.
- Tech Proficiency: Strong familiarity with digital tools, including Kajabi, project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello), and communication tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom).
- Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to analyze program metrics, track progress, and make informed adjustments to achieve objectives.
- Exceptional Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders and represent the school.
